Nine-time Grammy award-winner, Sheryl Crow, has released nine studio albums throughout her career. With top hits such as “The First Cut is the Deepest,” “All I Wanna Do,” “Soak Up the Sun,” “Easy,” and her collaborative hit with Kid Rock, “Picture,” Crow has sold more than 35 million albums worldwide. Her most recent album, Feels like Home, is Crow’s first country album, inspired by her childhood in Kennett, MO and current home of Nashville, TN.
“It was amazing to be making an album in my community, and have my life still be my primary inspiration,” she says. “I was still driving my kids to school in the morning and doing mommy things in-between sessions. Having a structured time to work, and being able to work at my house, everything about this just felt very loving and homey. Like the title says, it just felt like home.”
This chart-topping artist got her start recording jingles for companies like Toyota and McDonald’s and lending back up vocals to Don Henley, Belinda Carlisle and Stevie Wonder. She even toured with Michael Jackson through his Bad World Tour! It wasn’t long before Crow quickly became one of the most recognized and established female solo artists of the time.
