The living room and kitchen areas in this cabin have vaulted ceilings with a beautiful stacked stone fireplace creating a warm and cozy environment. A pool table is located in the family room on the lower level along with a television area for watching movies or playing Nintendo.
Enjoy the view from the rocking chairs on the covered porch where deer and wild turkey are frequently seen roaming below. Or soak in the stars while soaking in the brand new outdoor hot tub. This is also a wonderful vantage point to take in the hang gliders and paragliders over on Tater Hill. Hike to the top of the mountain ridge and enjoy nature at its finest. The cabin's wrap around deck is a favorite among guests and is the ideal place for grilling out and entertaining family and friends. Whatever you choose to do, you will never be bored at Misty Mountain!
Convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Mountain City and all area attractions including Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Mast General Store and area ski resorts. This cabin is also quite popular among honeymooners.
Misty Mountain has paved access all the way to the driveway – 4WD is necessary in winter. This is a dog-friendly home.
Please remember 4WD or chains are always recommended when visiting the mountains in winter.
