fairways. Mountain Glen was built in 1964 and

designed to be a good place for beginners to
learn and challenging for the most experienced
golfer.
Sugar Mountain Golf Course is located on
Sugar Mountain in Banner Elk, North Carolina.
Banner Elk is a great location for your next
North Carolina golf vacation. This is an 18-hole
public golf course designed by Francis Duane and
Arnold Palmer and first opened in 1973. Sugar
Mountain golf course is 4,560 yards in total
from the longest tees and has a par of 64. This
course is nestled in the valleys of Sugar
Mountain with views of Beech Mountain and the
surrounding valleys of Banner Elk. During your
